Do you love chocolate and peanut butter? Then you will love these Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies! A soft and chewy chocolate cookie filled with peanut butter chips! Super easy cookies to whip up and super delicious to eat!

By now, most of you know that my husband, Chad, has an obsession with chocolate and peanut butter. It's his favorite dessert! And when I say favorite, I mean it's all he ever wants! He'll eat other desserts, however, I can see the slight disappointment in his face when the dessert is not the famous duo, chocolate and peanut butter. It doesn't matter what kind of dessert it is, as long as it has chocolate and peanut butter together he'll eat it. So in order to continue my reputation as an awesome wife, I make chocolate peanut butter desserts often and these cookies are my latest! They are such a good cookie and they have allowed me stay on the awesome wife pedestal!

How To Make Easy Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

    • 1 cup packed brown sugar
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 2 eggs

Instructions To Make Soft & Chewy Cookies

These Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies are super easy to make and end up soft and chewy!

First thing, preheat the oven to 350° and line a couple cookie sheets with parchment paper. Next, gather all your ingredients. It really makes the process so much quicker and smoother.

Now that everything is ready, lets make these cookies! In a stand mixer or using a hand beater, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. This takes about 2-3 minutes. The longer the better with this step! Once its nice and fluffy add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Then add the vanilla and mix well.

Time for the dry ingredients. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda and mix until it is all incorporated. Next stir in the peanut butter chips.

Using a medium sized cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon, place cookie dough 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool on pans for 3 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.

That's it! Simple recipe to whip up and incredibly delicious to keep you in good standings with the chocolate and peanut butter lover in your family!

Can I freeze the cookies or cookie dough?

Yes! You can freeze the already baked cookies in a freezer safe air tight container or zip top bag. Or, you can freeze the cookie dough too. Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet and freeze the portioned dough. Once frozen, transfer the cookie dough to a freezer safe air tight container or zip top bag. To bake the frozen dough, add 2-3 minutes to the baking time.
