  • In a medium bowl combine onion soup mix, sour cream and black pepper. Mix together well.
  • Cover and chill for at least an hour.
  • Garnish with parsley, if desired.
  • Serve with chips, pretzels, crackers or veggies.

Notes

Homemade Onion Soup Mix Recipe
1 batch is equal to 1 envelope of store bought.
  • ¼ cup minced or chopped dried onion flakes
  • 2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
Combine all together and store in airtight container until ready to use.
