Oven Omelet

This Oven Omelet with Ham and Cheese is an easy baked breakfast made with simple ingredients and plenty of flavor. This homemade omelet bakes in one pan, making it perfect for feeding a crowd at breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk, any type
  • cups diced ham
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9 in pie dish or 9x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth and frothy.
  • Stir in diced ham, 1 cup of cheese, chives and black pepper.
  • Pour egg mix into prepared dish and sprinkle top with the remaining ½ cup of cheese.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until edges are golden brown, eggs are fully cooked and a butter knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
