Homemade Queso Dip

This Homemade Queso Dip is an easy and quick cheesy dip made from scratch with simple ingredients. Perfect for chips, nachos, and all your favorite party snacks.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
  • 8 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz co-jack cheese, shredded
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, DO NOT DRAIN
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • pinch red pepper flakes , optional

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pot, melt together the cream cheese, shredded cheeses, sour cream, and can of tomatoes with chiles over medium-low heat, stirring often, until it is almost completely melted.
  • Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream a little bit at at time, stirring well after each addition. Keep adding and stirring until the dip is all melted and smooth.
  • Stir in extra red pepper flakes for more heat if you like.
  • Remove from heat and enjoy!
