Garlic Butter Shrimp

This Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe is an easy and quick dinner made with tender shrimp cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce. This family friendly meal comes together in minutes and is perfect served over pasta or rice with crusty bread for soaking up the flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined (if frozen: thaw and drain)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 3 large cloves

Instructions

  • Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once butter is melted, add the shrimp in an even layer (as much as you can depending on the size of your pan).
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper.
  • Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until it just starts to turn pink.
  • Add the minced garlic and flip the shrimp and allow the garlic to mix with the butter sauce.
  • Cook the shrimp for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
