Crock Pot Honey Ham is a sweet and savory classic that’s effortlessly made in your slow cooker. With its irresistible flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, it’s a dish you’ll want to make again and again. This easy, hands-off recipe is perfect for family dinners and a standout centerpiece for your holiday celebrations.
Pat the ham dry. If you are not using a spiral ham score the ham in ½ inch pieces cutting at least ¼ inch down. This allows the fat to render more easily and the honey butter mixture to flavor the ham more.
Place the ham in the crock pot flat side down.
Pour the apple juice into the crock pot.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and melted butter. Pour the mixture over the top of the ham coating the top and sides. Use a pastry brush, if needed, to spread it out all over the ham.
Cook the ham on low temperature for 4-5 hours, basting every hour, until the temperature has reached 140°F.
