Mashed Potatoes in Instant Pot
This Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes Recipe is an easy homemade side dish that turns out smooth, creamy, and perfect every time. A simple, no fuss recipe that is great for weeknights or holiday meals.

Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker
Ingredients

lbs
potatoes
,
peeled and cubed
¾
cup
water
1
teaspoon
salt
½
cup
salted butter
½
cup
milk
salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Peel potatoes and place in bowl of cold water as you go.
Cube potatoes and place in Instant Pot.
Add water and salt.
Place lid on and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
Once time is up, carefully do a quick pressure release. Remove lid after valve stem has dropped.
Add butter and mash potatoes with hand masher or electric beater.
Stirk in milk, salt and black pepper.
Serve and enjoy!
