2 slices bread 2 large eggs 1 tablespoon salted butter salt and black pepper , to taste
Cut a hole in the middle of each slice of bread using a cookie cutter, biscuit cutter, glass or jar.
Melt the butter in a large flat skillet over medium heat.
Place the bread and pieces in the pan and cook for a minute to begin toasting the bread.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and crack an egg in the center of each slice of bread.
Cook for 1-2 minutes until the egg whites look about half way cooked.
Flip the bread and pieces and cook another 1-2 minutes until the eggs are done to your liking and the bread is toasted.
Season with salt and pepper, and enjoy!
