Chocolate Chip Waffles Recipe
Chocolate Chip Waffles are an easy, homemade, and family friendly breakfast that everyone will love. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and dotted with melty chocolate chips, they make any morning extra sweet.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Make a hole in the middle of the mixture.
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, honey and vanilla extract together.
Add the wet ingredients to the flour mix and whisk a few times.
Add melted butter and whisk gently just until everything is combined, being careful not to over mix.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Let batter rest at least 5 minutes while the waffle iron preheats.
Using a ladle or ½ cup measuring cup, add batter to the center of the waffle iron.
Follow your waffle iron directions to make waffles.
Mine usually takes about 3-4 minutes.
Add waffles to a baking sheet with a cooling rack and place in a very low oven to stay warm and crisp until all the waffles are made.
