Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites

These delicious little Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites are easy to make and packed with peanut butter, chocolate and extra protein! Store them in the fridge or freezer for a sweet guilt free snack!
Course: Snack
Servings: 20 bites
Author: Heather

Ingredients

  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
  • 1 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix together thoroughly.
  • Use a medium size cookie scoop and portion out bites, roll into balls.
  • To store in fridge: place bites in between layers of wax paper in an air tight container or zip top bag.
  • To freeze: place baking sheet in freezer for a few hours. Once frozen, place bites in a freezer safe container or zip top bag and label.
  • To thaw: simply take a bite out and let it sit about 10-15 minutes. I like to eat mine cold, but the hubs and kiddos like to eat them frozen! Or you can take them out the night before and pack them in your lunch for the next day!
