Homemade Red Velvet Ice Cream - DYE FREE
Homemade Red Velvet Ice Cream is creamy and tastes just like a cupcake! Super easy to make and will please all the red velvet lovers in your family!
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, heaping
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons pure beet powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour ice cream base into ice cream maker and follow your manufacturers instructions. My ice cream maker takes about 25-30 minutes.
Once churning is finished, it will be soft serve consistency. Place the ice cream in a freezer safe container and freeze for 4 hours.
