Homemade Queso Cheese Dip

This easy Homemade Queso Cheese Dip is made with 6 ingredients and one pot! So easy and quick! Use it with tortilla chips, pour it over a bed of nachos or make loaded french fries!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz co-jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, DO NOT DRAIN
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • pinch red pepper flakes , optional

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pot, melt together the cheeses, sour cream, and can of tomatoes over medium-low heat until it is almost completely melted.
  • Reduce heat to low and add cream a little bit at at time, stirring well after each addition. Keep adding and stirring until the dip is all melted and smooth.
  • Stir in extra red pepper flakes for more heat if you like.
  • Remove from heat and enjoy!
