Homemade Queso Cheese Dip
This easy Homemade Queso Cheese Dip is made with 6 ingredients and one pot! So easy and quick! Use it with tortilla chips, pour it over a bed of nachos or make loaded french fries!
- 8 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
- 8 oz co-jack cheese, shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, DO NOT DRAIN
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups heavy cream
- pinch red pepper flakes , optional
In a medium sized pot, melt together the cheeses, sour cream, and can of tomatoes over medium-low heat until it is almost completely melted.
Reduce heat to low and add cream a little bit at at time, stirring well after each addition. Keep adding and stirring until the dip is all melted and smooth.
Stir in extra red pepper flakes for more heat if you like.
Remove from heat and enjoy!
