- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic, or 1½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 6 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen (thaw first if frozen)
- cooked rice or noodles, for serving
- sesame seeds, for garnish
- sliced green onions, for garnish
Whisk together the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, sesame oil, dried onion, honey and corn starch. Set aside.

Whisk together corn starch, water, and garlic. Pour over beef and toss gently until all beef is coated.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
Add beef in a single layer and cook until desired doneness, for medium: cook 2-3 minutes. Cook in batches if needed.
Remove cooked beef from skillet and cover with foil to keep warm.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the pan, reduce heat to medium-high heat and add broccoli.
Cook broccoli for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Return the beef to the pan with the broccoli and stir to combine them.
Pour the sauce over beef and broccoli and cook 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
