- ½ cup milk, any type of milk will do
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 medium banana
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- whip cream, optional
- chocolate syrup, optional
Blend the banana, eggs, and vanilla in a food processor or blender until smooth.
In a small sauce pan, warm milk on low heat. Watch carefully!
Once the milk starts to bubble around the edges, turn off heat.
Quickly add the chocolate chips to the milk and stir until completely melted.
With the food processor/blender on, slowly add about ¼ of the chocolate mixture until mixed. (You are tempering the eggs so they don't scramble)
Slowly add the remaining of the chocolate mix while the food processor/blender is on.
Gently pour the mix into 5 or 6 small mason jars or dessert cups.
Place on a sheet pan or in a dish and chill in refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
Once chilled, you can top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
