These Chocolate Drop Candy Cookies are the best candy and chocolate chip filled cookies ever! They're soft, chewy and absolutely amazing! A sweet little treat the kiddos go crazy for, and delightful enough to give as a gift!
Preheat oven to 350° and line a few baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix on low just until its all combined.
Stir in the mini chocolate chips and candies.
Scoop cookie dough using a medium scoops or a heaping tablespoon an place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 11-13 minutes, just until the edges are starting to brown. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes and then remove to a wire rack or counter to cool completely.
Notes
To freeze the baked cookies, simply place the cookies in a freezer safe air tight container or zip top bag and freeze for 3-4 months. To freeze the dough, place portioned cookie dough on a sheet pan and place in freezer. Once the dough is frozen, place the dough in a freezer safe container or bag and freeze. Don't forget to label!To bake the frozen cookie dough, bake as directed in the instructions and add 2-3 minutes to the baking time.
