Chocolate Drop Candy Cookies

These Chocolate Drop Candy Cookies are the best candy and chocolate chip filled cookies ever! They're soft, chewy and absolutely amazing! A sweet little treat the kiddos go crazy for, and delightful enough to give as a gift!

  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a few baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
  • Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
  • Add the baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix on low just until its all combined.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips and candies.
  • Scoop cookie dough using a medium scoops or a heaping tablespoon an place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes, just until the edges are starting to brown. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes and then remove to a wire rack or counter to cool completely.

Notes

To freeze the baked cookies, simply place the cookies in a freezer safe air tight container or zip top bag and freeze for 3-4 months. To freeze the dough, place portioned cookie dough on a sheet pan and place in freezer. Once the dough is frozen, place the dough in a freezer safe container or bag and freeze. Don't forget to label!
To bake the frozen cookie dough, bake as directed in the instructions and add 2-3 minutes to the baking time.
