How To Bake Bacon

Who doesn't love bacon? We love bacon in this house! This How to Bake Bacon tutorial, will leave you never wanting to stand in front of a frying pan, dodging flying bacon grease ever again!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sliced bacon

Instructions

  • Line baking sheets with aluminum foil.
  • Place bacon slices on sheet pans in a single layer, not over lapping.
  • Place the baking sheets in a cold oven.
  • Turn the oven on to 400°.
  • Bake for 14-20 minutes, until you have reached your desired crispiness.
  • Place baked bacon on a paper towel lined baking sheet.

Notes

If you are using both racks in your oven, rotate your sheet pans half way through baking (around the 8 minute mark).
For extra crispy bacon, you can bake the bacon on a wire rack on top of the lined baking sheet.
