Classic French Toast
This Classic French Toast recipe is so easy to whip up and is filled with amazing custard and cinnamon flavor. Top it with a drizzle of pure maple syrup and some fresh berries and everyone will be smiling all day after an amazing breakfast!

Preheat electric griddle to 350°F or a skillet with butter over medium heat.
Slice French Bread about 1 in thick at a diagonal to get at least 12 slices.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon very well until cinnamon is all incorporated and not clumped together.
Add cream and whisk until fully incorporated.
Dunk the sliced bread into the custard flipping the bread to coat it evenly.
Place the coated bread on the griddle or in skillet.
Cook each side about 2-3 minutes until a deep golden brown and there is no more raw custard visible.
Lather with butter, powdered sugar, berries, peanut butter, hazelnut spread, or chocolate chips, then drench with syrup and DIG IN!
