Ingredients

  • 4 Tilapia filets, 4 ounces each
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

  • Spray the basket of the air fryer with some olive oil cooking spray. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  • Pat the fish filets dry with paper towels and set aside.
  • In a shallow bowl combine breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley and salt.
  • In another shallow dish add the egg and beat it with a fork or whisk until frothy.
  • Add one tilapia filet to the beaten egg and coat both sides.
  • Place the egg coated piece of fish in the breading mixture. Turn it over and coat the other side. Pat the breading down with a fork or your fingers if needed. Shake off any excess and set aside on a baking sheet.
  • Repeat with the other fish filets until all are breaded.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the fish with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Place 2-3 filets in the air fryer, depending on how large your basket or shelf is.
  • Air fry for 7-8 minutes until the breading is golden brown and crispy, the fish is flakey and the internal temperature has reached 145°F. Repeat with remaining breaded filets.
