Easy Apple Cobbler

6 cups peeled and sliced apples , ¼ inch thick 1 tablespoon lemon juice ½ cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 2 quart baking dish.
Peel and slice apples so they are ¼ inch thick.
Toss apples will lemon juice and spread in prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle sugar evenly over apples, followed by the cinnamon.
In a large mixing bowl combine: all purpose flour, sugar and baking powder.
Cut in cold cubed butter with your fingers or a pastry blender until it resembles course crumbs.
Stir in buttermilk just until fully incorporated.
Dollop biscuit topping over the apples.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until top is golden brown and apples are fork tender.
Let cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving. Make it al a mode and serve it with ice cream.
