  • ¼ cup corn starch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic, or 1½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 6 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen (thaw first if frozen)
  • cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

  • Whisk together the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, sesame oil, dried onion, honey and corn starch. Set aside.

  • Remove cooked beef from skillet and cover with foil to keep warm.
  • Add remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the pan, reduce heat to medium-high heat and add broccoli.
  • Cook broccoli for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Return the beef to the pan with the broccoli and stir to combine them.
  • Pour the sauce over beef and broccoli and cook 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
